Family Tree's Matthew and Takako Copeland create own range of in house products, which currently consists of small interior products and jewellery.

Matt and Takako both have graphic design backgrounds. Matt went to work with shaker furniture then John Jones art framers to learn wood working. Takako graduated from Central Saint Martins then apprenticed silversmith to learn jewellery making and gemology. Pair opened Family Tree on 2004 and started to create own product range. They get inspiration from their background (English + Japanese), love of mid century design, traveling and diverse living in London.
